Anyone Have This Happen?

While driving home, I noticed my check advancetrack/abs light was on. A few seconds later, the dash lights went out, followed by the stereo, and the air conditioner. When I pulled into the driveway it finally died and will not start. Luckily, this all began to happen right down the street from my house. I'm thinking it may be the alternator. Any ideas?

Sounds about right. Lincolns are finicky with the electrical stuff when an alternator or battery is on it's way out. I know my '95 Mark VIII I had did the same thing with the traction control button going on and off. I would start the car and get a voltmeter on the alternator to see how much voltage it's putting out. Or you could just yank it and the battery out and have them tested for free at your local AutoZone.

Definitely sounds like the battery. Take it to your local AutoZone or similar and have them check the battery and the alternator. The LS does weird things when the battery goes dead.
