Hey, I was talking to lightwurkz and they wanted to start in production carbon fiber headlight housings. All they need is a test set of headlights to make the mold from. The projected price range is 350-450. They said they could even tint or dye the carbon fiber in the production process if desired.

Here are some pics of what the BMW ones look like..

That stuff is to be used on Civics. Sorry, but no thank you.

I sent these guys a set of bezels and they ended up losing them and wanted me to send them another set. Then when I tried to contact them about sending them another set they didn't get back to me. I'm more than willing to send some to them if they're actually willing to go through with it this time.

it would only look cool if there was a little more CF to tie into and match to, but its hard for CF to look good on a luxury car, it way too easy for any CF pieces on a non-race car to look ricey

Update.. who ever let's them use their headlights gets a free set..

I doubt its completely free. They contacted me about sending them my fog lights to make an angel eyes kit. I was interested until it came down to the specifics on how much it would cost.

They wanted to charge me $160 for just 2 rings when their angel eyes headlight kit contains 4 larger rings for just 40 bucks more. I also would have had to pay for the shipping.

Send me your fogs, I'll install some for you :D. I did it to my reg fogs a while back. Sold them to someone on here but they never posted pics with them. They were only ccfl, but lookes pretty good in the day, I'm sure LED's would look sweet on there.

I'm going to do a set on my lse fogs after money get free'd up. One of my little projects I have stored up.

Good to know.. I thought they were good to deal with because I thought that's where Alex got his stuff at..

I hear ya.. Like I said above, I would have mine colored to silver so you can't really see the carbon weave lines..

hell yeah id be interested id send them a set

I can get the deats for you.. I will contact them to make sure that they are really free..

Even if they charged for the carbon fiber, it shouldn't be that much.. Idk what to make of it. I called about the angel eyes and they told me about this and to post it on the fourm..

WHAT ! ! Sorry, but I personally think that is to much to spend on such an insignificant cosmetic piece.

Sorry I never posted pics up, one of the inverters crapped out a couple days after getting them, so i unhooked them. I got an inverter last month but never got around to taking pics. I just tried to take a pic but its getting dark out so my camera doesnt pick up the ring because its to bright. i will get pics tomorrow.

I bought my angel eyes from them, but have never dealt with them in deal like this. They did want me to send in my lse fogs to try and get rings for it, wanted me to pay shipping and pay for the rings, but I'm just going to do it myself and save.

No worries. Sorry about the inverters. I didn't have them on long at all and wouldn't use them much either. I kept them off and they would blink with the turn signals for the most part.

so im not crazy in thinking angel eye fogs would be cool!

Yea.. I don't want anyone to get screwed so if TDUB has sent them sets and nothing as come of it, idk what to think..

I was just asked by them to mention it on here. I have never done business with them but plan on getting the eyes soon..

And I was just saying in general that since you've done business with them that they "should" be a good business to deal with..

If anyone has a extra set of lights, I would do it, if it's free, I wouldn't do it for my car though. It might look decent on a black car, or if you really want it to stand out, a white one.

Nope, not the only one who has thought of fog angel eyes. It's hard to say if they would look good. I dont know if it would be over kill having headlight angel eyes and fogs angel eyes, or it might just be awesome. Can't know until you try it right.

Here's a pic of the ones a did before. Didn't take pics showing the full circle and didn't take many pics either, but here are a few. This is before LED angel eyes went in.

Like I said above, I would get the silverish carbon fiber to match my grey/silver scheme.. Could look sweet or like crap.. Never been done on a LS so it would be unique..

I think it would look good, if they are as bright as Andrizzle's you wouldn't ever have to turn your Headlights on lol.

Its probably the camera or the fact that the headlight ones are larger therefor produce more light, but his seem brighter.

Either way, it looks awsome.

i'd love to have angel eye fogs and headlights, that way instead of using my fogs i could just turn those one for show
