Anyone know how to remove...

Anyone know how to remove the black plastic rear valance? It looks to have some rivits in it or am I just seeing things. I want to take it off to have my exhuast tips welded on and I can cut the exhaust tip opening bigger. Anyone?

Tyler,

The lower rear valance is held on to the bumper with screws. It shouldn't be held on with rivets. However, the side panels behind the rear wheels are held into place with rivets. This piece is inside the bumper and makes the side of the bumper rigid. Also, this piece has studs on that are used to bolt the side of the bumper to body. IIRC, those rivets should not need to come off with the rear valance.

Hey I got an easier way do like I did and blow a tire at 75-80 and it will take out the corner half....LOL are you taking yours of to sell it....If so let me know I might buy it
