Anyone know much about Ford Explorers, my dad has a 1995, with some issues and I know he doesnt want to have to replace it right now,too much chaos in my families life right now. And if anyone knows how to fix them I want to learn, I would do anything I could to help my dad so help me!Please!

It needs a new radiator, axle and pinion seals, as well as a transmission fluid flush

What do you need to know? Buy the parts and swap them out.

If you dont know how to do it find a competent local shop or go to a dealer. Dealer may try and gouge you.

Lets go through one at a time. What's wrong with the current radiator?

Axle might be on CL if you take a look. Seals can be ordered off rockauto if you want Motorcraft. If it doesn't matter, just go to AZ and get them.

Disconnect the trans line from radiator since it is being replaced anyway and get a bucket. Crank it up and watch all the trans fluid come spitting out. When all fluid is done or down to just little spits, shut it off. Remove pan, change filter, clean magnet, replace pan gasket if needed. Should come with the filter but it may have a re-usable gasket on the pan already. Pour about 5 quarts in and then crank it but only after you have connected the line back to the radiator. Fill as needed from there. I don't know how many quarts they hold but 5 will get things rolling for you.

Just give this a watch and you'll see what you're up against. Not too bad.

The filter kit for my '99's 5R55E came with a pan gasket, but the gasket is cheap enough to buy, so I'd suggest replacing it either way.

The method I found recommended for a flush/fill was to get about ten feet of transmission hose, cut it in half, and connect one piece to to the line from the transmission to the cooler and one to the return line. Tape the end of the outgoing line to an empty 5 gallon bucket and put the return line hose in a clean 5 gallon bucket full of fresh transmission fluid, then start 'er up. That way the transmission will do the fluid exchange all by itself, and, as long as you don't let the "clean" bucket go dry, the transmission won't go dry. (They recommended the transmission hose so it could be a one-person operation.)

yeah pretty standard repairs on that year explorer, id have some one do the axle seals and pinion seals if you dont know what to do. the pinion nut adjusts the backlash on the gearset, so if you over/under tighten it you can just make everything worse
