Does anybody know if they make a shift kit for the Town Car-Grand Marquis-Crown Vic AOD? Is it the same application as the Mark VII?

Should be the same, the guys on GMN are using TransGo kits on their Town Cars, Grand Marqs, etc...

AOD is an AOD, so yes, VII parts work just fine. Tailshaft length is different, but the guts are all the same.
One popular mod for the AOD is to install the Mustang high speed governer in the trans, but that only helps if your engine makes power at that RPM, which a stock lopo engine does not.
