Sorry if this is the wrong board to put this on, but I figured I'd share these with you guys unless you already came across 'em.
While we Mark VIII lovers would love for Ford to produce another RWD coupe powerhouse under the Lincoln badge(not sure if our wallets would appreciate it though), we can at least appreciate the vision some fellow enthisiasts have until we get that new RWD vehicle.
We're familiar with the 2001 Mark IX concept and the Mark X concept that eventually turned into the recent Thunderbird.
Recently I came across some chopped pics of a Mark IX that I believe Lincoln could take a hint from as whoever this photoshopper is has some vision and skill.
The first is dubbed the "Lincoln Continental Mark IX"
take a deep breath, the name of the next one is quite long.... "Lincoln Continental Mark IX LSC V12 Biturbo". Yikes!!
and the Lincoln Mark GT
Quite unfortunate that there are no chop shots of the rear of the first two, it'd be just as interesting as the face. In any event, I like the one that gives you an asthma attack just by saying the name alone.
Would you guys find any of these "Marks" to be "acceptable" as the successor to our beloved Mark VIII?

For this chop, I used a Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe for the base of this Continental Mark IX coupe, so yes, I actually did rip-off Rolls' radiator shaped grille, lol. I've been working on a much more avant garde Lincoln coupe, based on the new Kia GT concept car, but it's quite an intense chop, really a cleansheet design study, so to clear my head tonight I decided to work on a quick chop.

My latest Lincoln to feature the classic "Parthenon" grille, would "borrow" a twin-turbo Aston-Martin V12, and place it in a carbon-fiber bespoke platform and body. Utilizing a generous 2+2 layout, the interior would feature 4 Recaro bucket seats, upholstered in Nappa leather and Alcantara, with the rear seats electrically foldable. Fitted carbon fiber luggage would take advantage of every nook and cranny in the carpeted luggage area.

Illustrated at the top is my Mark GT, a long and relatively low luxury coupe with wraparound glass and a thick B pillar, based on the MKT. The bottom version is a much shorter and taller, more futuristic Mark, based on an Aston Martin concept, with roof styling more akin to the pillarless Marks of yore.
