While that hardly seems the case on this forum, while driving around in NJ to and from work, almost every single LS I see on the road is being driven by a female, aged 40-60s.

Maybe it's just New Jersey, but are we a minority here? :) I haven't seen any demographics released by Lincoln on the matter, but I wonder how many of the female owners are owners of brand new LSes vs. used?

I've only seen a few women driving them around me, the majority are men in that same age group. I am starting to see some people in there 20's but it's only every once in awhile

I turn 22 in July... Big motorhead I am. Did lots of investigating and research before buying the perfect car for me... the LS V8. Rear wheel drive fun with the upper-class style... in my price range. :)

Mine is registered in my wife's name...

In the first part of March, some a-hole ran us off the freeway into a concrete median wall on the way to work (we ride together to save parking fees.) The wreck totaled our 2003 Taurus SES. So, we had to replace "her" car.

I wanted something Ford, V8, RWD... She wanted a blue 4 door:rolleyes:

We took a pretty big depreciation hit on the Taurus when we bought it new and I didn't want to do that again, So when I found our Blue LS V8 on the internet, the rest was history.

Yes, she drives it, every day and we are both 28.

Well over here the nicer V8's tend to be driven by older women, however I do occasionally see some older V6's around town driven by younger people (complete with rims and all that stuff), most notably a pizza delivery boy.

im 19 and im a male lol, i dont see many LS around here and the ones i see they are being driven by guys anywhere from 18-40

i also see alot of women driving them, i know why, because look at it on a luxury stand point, the LS is alittle expensive, luxorious and mid-sized so i dont think these women bought these themselves, Thier rich husbands did and since we all know the rule that you wife should not have a nicer car than you, all of these husbands are driving BMW's, Mercedes or better.

P.S........Plz no one get offended by this i was just thinking out loud but if you think about it, its kinda a little bit true.

Most guys drive LS's around here. My friend Chris and I have identicle LS's, My other friend Anthony has a 2001 BLue V8 and some other guy I see driving around alot has a 2000 V8 with eyebrows, 20's and a LSE spoiler. They are popular over here, trust me.

I've been a student of the LS for so long, I get the marketing strategies mixed up.

I seem to remember (perhaps in the 2003-2005 MY marketing strategy) that the V6 version was targeted more at women, and the V8 was targeted more at men. In that Model Year, the V6 had more "luxury" features (softer tires, non-SST transmission) that were supposed to appeal to women, whereas the V8 models had sportier features (SST trans, sport susp., 17-inch wheels, etc.).

That said, in my area, I see about an equal mix of men and women driving the LS.

THe LS in the last Carshow pics I posted is owned by a girl. There is also a stock black one here owned by a girl, and a beige silver birch one with a trenz verticle grill... might I add all the girls look better in the car.. except one..

I've seen more woman driving LS's around my area.
I bought the LS for my wife to drive. When I did my research on similar/comparable vehicles, this one had the best crash test rating, and looked nicer then the others. I get a chance to drive it a couple of times during the week and weekends, and love it. I'm glad I bought this car. If I had the money, I'd bye another one so that I wouldn't have to share.:D

Most of the LS drivers in my area are "older" women. My wife likes driving mine, but she would rather drive her Dodge Quad Cab truck, which she does on a daily basis. BTW, I am 53.

maybe we're all girly men here on LvC.

If the LS market is filled with more women, then I'd have to say that I agree. Anything to be able to drive this car!!!:D.....Our LS is also mainly my wife's car. I usually keep a truck. However, we both work at the same place, so I get to drive the car most of the time. I have this thing where if I'm not driving, I don't feel safe. I guess it springs from being in the first 4 of my older brothers 6 wrecks, before I got my license. Ever since, I'd rather drive myself or walk. She's always had a car, but I never took interest in what she had until we test drove this one. Fell in love and will remain that way.

Well Im in Cali... our most populated state in the US and I mainly see men driving the LS. Yes I do see women driving the LS but mainly men.

My wife mainly drives the LS.

I have 2 Grand Prix GTPs that I drive normally drive. One is running low 12s soon to be 11s and the other is a high 13second car.
