Are there any Blend Door Actuator repairmen near OKC?

The '98 Mark VIII I purchased in June has no heat unless I manually move the grey actuator lever towards the passenger side. So, I need a new blend door actuator.
I could probably do the job, but at my age I really don't want to tackle the job. I would rather pay someone a reasonable fee to do the job. And I would like to have someone who has experience in replacing this part.
I don't mind taking a little trip, having the work completed, then coming home, so my real question is; is there anyone near Okla. City who is interested in tackling this project? If not, then I guess I'll try myself. Fortunately, several of you fine gentlemen have posted a lot of very good information on the replacement, plus there is a youtube video with instructions.

Not to steal business ..but I'm 6 hours less in the trip...and I bet even Nolan could handle it for you, he's in BrokenArrow I believe
 
Even Nolan..... :) I'm in Broken Arrow, OK outside of Tulsa if you want a hand getting it fixed.

It's a huge pain, you should just sell me your Gen II just like it is ;)

Shoot me a pm if you want a hand, I'm in OKC usually once every couple weeks as well.
 
Blend Door Update

Well, I hunkered down today and replaced the blend door on my '98. A big thanks to whoever posted the procedure with photos and a great description on how to do the job. Without those instructions it would be a two day job and I'd probably set fire to the car before I got done.
It took me about 4.5 hours to complete the change out. The worst part was actually removing the blend door actuator, and replacing with the new door. Just too tight an area to work, but I got it done.

A big thanks also for the guys who offered to do the repair. I just decided that if I'm going to own a 14 year old car, I need to do the repairs.

Now, let's see what else breaks!
First was the Rear Wheel Speed Sensor
Next was the Air Ride Compressor
And now the Blend Door

Without this forum I wouldn't have been able to any of the above repairs without a lot of grief.

Glad to hear you got it all sorted out man! :Beer There are people out there who give up on these cars prematurely because they don't know these forums exist or are stubborn to join. The forums are a godsend, really. :cool:
