I've run across on some other Ford forums, particularly an F-150 site, that you can use ForScan to change a hex address on their BCM module at 726-27-01 to make the fog lights stay on with the high beams. Is there any way to do this on our LSes? If not does anyone know how to mod them so when the high beams are on either the low beams and/or fog lights stay on? I hate that both go out when I switch high beams on.

Also, what CAN we change on those module hex addresses with ForScan on our cars?

im looking for the spreadsheets associated with the modules ..... on my 2002 ls

there are the modules as built then a couple modules that appear to be the cfg files for the modules with same name

we as laymen can change parameters most of the modules in my year dont even have a cfg file associated with them or any options in the borland drop down style .... tuners can do it but i dont see why they cant have software like forscan to do these tasks too ..hardware or johnny menomic might be reason the pcm cant handle the tasks associated with turning and using cfg's but changes in exterior software there probobly is a way to update the vehicles main modules given adresses ... given the goods for addressed parameters will be important ....like i dont like the idea of a tuner that has never been on the dyno because were would you know what angle is needed for run time adjustments they do it from a data base of vehicles hoping your in the green for such a manuver no distributers or ways to physically advance or retard seems missing good faith

I'm pretty sure the answer would be "no" ... because of the way the headlight switch and turn signal switch are wired/interconnected.

It is most likely because of the way the turn signal switch was designed, (to prevent that).
