This is the video that I think inspired Motor Trend to race a ZR 1 against a F/A 18... it is the best drag race ever...

TopGear's Greatest Race: Bugatti Veyron Vs Eurofighter Typhoon

Hell if you can afford that car and insurance, gas would be the last thing on your mind.

I've seen this before great video ... Welcome to the other world of LvC ... life is more friendly out side the Political forum and more fun. A much more real crowd out here

Have you see the cross-continental race between Clarkson in the Veyron and Hammond and May in a private airplane?

I personally WOULDN'T want one... :q:q:q:q that once you own one wtf do you buy next??

I just see it as a really boring car to own... I mean really WTF do you buy next??

an amazing car. formula 1 engines make 80% the power with 25% the size without the boost of the veyron engine. just an interesting thought. gotta keep playing the big lottery's i guess.

They also don't have to meet emissions, last more than a few hundred miles between rebuilds, or behave well at low speeds and revs. What's amazing about the Veyron engine is not that it produces so much power but that it is streetable power.

Kid, it is a niche car - you buy a Veyron because it is sooo fast, you buy a Testarossa because of the lines, you buy a DB8 because you want to play James Bond on the weekend, you buy a Dual Ghia because Dean Martin had Johnny Walker install a bar in it... There are lots of 'next' cars...

This is the Dual Ghia - what a gorgeous car - the lines are perfect... That 'B' pillar is amazing...

Just not the way I see it Foxpaws...

But to be honest I'd rather have a 96 Impala SS or a 86 Buick Grand National :D

KK you are not mature enough to appreciate the fine cars that foxpaws mentioned and i can think of something else that would have some very fine lines. :gr_devil:

Kid - you have to be kidding - a '96 Impala SS comes close to the Dual Ghia?

I like the modded Volga - the chrome line above the rockers is nice... and a great grill...

For me it does.... that car is more of a lust factor than anything else, I have wanted one since I was 15 and never could afford a decent example.... the Dual Ghia and it aren't even in the same class, you just can't compare the two...

I think relative in terms of cars I COULD afford, I mean if I really wanted to I COULD own an Impala SS tomorrow.... I'm not going to buy one but I could.

If we wanted to talk about all the cars there are... different story...

I'd take one of each :)
