I need to filter my stereo on my 94... I put my Kenwood unit that I had into it and took out the Jensen that was in it when I purchased it.

It had some noise in it with the Jensen in and still with the Kenwood. Obviously it needs a filter somewhere or something. The noise is a turbo sounding whistle when accelerating.

So what do I need to do get stop the noise?

Bad ground or the ground is too long or is touching metal somewhere in between the 2 connections I think does that too... If you could harness that power and make it come out of your speakers really loud everyone would think it was turbo charged!!! Lame idea huh? :p

Yeah mine did that because I tried to use the same ground that the factory stereo had. Try running a seperate ground to somewhere else in the dash area. BTW Kenwood sucks. I bought a new Kenwood deck less than 6 months ago and it totally stopped working. Now I am without music and will be for the next 2 weeks or so while my deck is being repaired. I will never buy Kenwood again.

I've seen those things.... Come one most Ricers can't afford a Turbo.. so if you want your car to look like it came from Autozne now you can make it sound like it's from Autozone....

And from the lights it will drive like it's from Autozone

A guy passed me the other day with one. It did not sound right.Maybe a turbo going bad was the sound they where after..LOL
It was more like a whistle. It was obvious what he had though.
I think the rice was over cooked on that one !! LMAO
A new low even for ricers... Although buying an intercooler and having it installed with no pipes running to it was really funny too!!
