on my 2000 ls, i have the stock cassette player with a changer in the glove box. i can live with that. one of the speakers in the front is blown, so i am gonna replace all 4. i also have a 4-channel amp. is it possible to connect the amp to the stock stereo? on my tbird, i had an aftermarket cd player with rca's, so that was a no brainer. i doubt there are rca's on the stock unit.
i assume there is no stock amp since it's not the alpine unit, and there are only 4 speakers...1 per door. feel free to correct me if i am wrong.
edit: alright, after a search i realized i would need a line-out-converter for the amp. i have no idea how to install this stuff, and circuit city seems to be a ripoff to install 4 speakers and an amp. any local guys wanna give me a hand?
