I need some information on upgrading the factory installed system in my
Lincoln TC 2000.
Right now have the following:
Alpine sys. w/ tape deck
sub woofer amp (?) mounted in trunk
aftermarket Kenwood 10 Disc changer in trunk w/ FM trans.

I would like to replace it with a JVC KDR200.

question 1. Will I still have the steering control buttons
work with the Scosche wiring harness.

question 2. the JVC is a single din. the Alpine is a double din.
I am not sure how the mounting hardware will fill
the opening.
Any information would be helpful.
Thank You

get the dash kit without a pocket, most of the pocket dash kits wont fit the opening, get a steering wheel remote interface so you can still use the buttons. check out my gallery if you want an idea of how the single din will look. do you have the factory subwoofer? or just the amp? i have the subwoofer if you want it, (please take it off my hands if you need it, its been taking up room).

re: sub woofer

Thanks but I have the sub woofer all ready.
:)
The Scosche FDK13B wiring harness has the interface.

"The SWC-1 will need to be used witch is a steering wheel interface"
their answer (David Garcia,Tech Support,Scosche Industries, Inc. & spelling  )
