My auto diming lights don't work. They go on and off with the timer and daylight sensor but the brights sensor doesn't work can anybody help me thanks.

I'm just going to walk through the process to make sure you know about the system; don't get offended if I tell you something you already know.

There are two rollers switches next to the headlight switch that control auto headlights and auto dimming. First, make sure that both are rolled upwards to be active. If you roll them all the way down, you will feel a slight "click" that indicated the option has been turned off.

You should see a small blue-green square illuminate next to the roller when the lights are on and the auto dim is on. There is an eye bolted to the rearview mirror that affects the auto dim feature. Make sure that it is present and properly connected. You also must turn on your high beams, or there is nothing to dim. When you have your high beams on and the eye senses oncoming light, it dims the high beams.

From here you must trouble shoot. In the dark turn on the high beams and the auto dim. Take a flashlight to the sensor eye. If there is no dimming, there is an issue with either the eye or the wiring. Unfortunately you must troubleshoot to determine if the fault is the eye, the connections, the wiring, or the switch.
