I have a 2000 town car and the interior lights plus the exterior lights, if turned on, cycle on and off until the battery goes dead.

Is there an easy way to check the door sensors to see if one of them is causing this or a way to check the computer to tell me which one or whatever is causing this?

I pulled the interior light fuse to keep the battery from going dead for the time being.
Thanks...

What do you mean keep "cycle on and off" until the battery goes dead?

Like the interior lights will flash? If so it's eather:

1. Switch. Water will f-up these little buggers.
2. GEM Module - Ford's one interior CPU downfall...

I would suspect the General Electronics Module as stated above or head light switch. Headlight switch#1, GEM #2.

One possible test (not very conclusive but at least a place to start) If you open any one door and the issue goes away - bad switch on that door. also if you rotate the switch to just any lamp does it do this? Are ny of the exterior lamps damp - water in the lens?
