Auto to manual conversion ideas (revisited)

Yes, I searched, and came up with some new information, thought might be useful and promising. I haven't looked at too much yet, but there's a company that makes Tremec conversions for GM, Ford, and Jaguar. Now as I recall (and I don't know which ones), the engine and chassis in the LS bears remarkable resemblance to Jaguar cars, correct?

Might something be adaptable to our cars, to convert to manual? At least the trans and bellhousing, flywheel, clutch, and starter... a driveshaft might be a different story, but those can be made custom for fairly cheap.

If they had one for an S-type I would be excited since it is the same chassis and engine as our LS. Don't think there is any hope based on an XJ platform.
 
I believe the S-type comes with a manual (6 speed) in Europe. This was (or is) a new option for either 2005 or 2006.
 
I would love to see a 5 or 6 spd v8. It would be awesome. I wish I wasn't a poor college student.
