I have a 2000 LS V8...should my car have auto wipers...how does this work, ive never seen my wipers turn on by themselves before...

I was looking at the posted link and noticed in the instructions there were some DIP switch setting that can chance the sensitivity of the rain sensor. I'd like to make my system a little more sensitive but I'm not sure where to find the DIP switches or if the LS's have these switches. Does anyone know?
