I just picked up my ls to get somethings fixed on my 02 and am very happy with the service. It's no wonder Lincoln has been rated #1 in service forever.
This is what they are fixing when the parts come in. They are putting in a brand new regulator on the front driver side door. All I said was that it moves slow and maybe it's related to the bitter cold. They are taking no chances and want to replace the whole thing.
The other thing is that my Advancetrac light came on a couple of times when it is very cold. They are ordering what they called a abs module to fix it.
My passenger lumbar doesn't work and they are fixing that to.
The other thing that I was concerned about was a little jerk in the tranny when shifting from p to r or d. They said that it gets much better when the car is warm. Said that it was normal and even had their Tranny guy go for a ride with me and he explained how it works. Very nice guy.
The other thing I said is that it has a hard time crankin over, i kind of made this one up, it only did it like twice but i was thinking maybe the coils. The fix on this is according to my paper work is a pcm tsb from 03 07 03.
Anyway i am very happy and am glad to own my lincoln.
