I have an 01 Town Car and on these cold mornings she stutters and stalls until the engine is warmed up.

I have a CE light come on periodically stating a misfire on cylinders 1 & 6;
-All the plugs were replaced with Autolight 764’s
-New coils on cylinders 1 & 6
-Cleaned the MAF and air Temp sensor

Still not operating correctly, any Ideas were to go next?
Thanks!

Checked for vacuum leaks as best I could in the dark when its 10 degrees out. I picked up a MAF for $10.00, I’ll throw that in and check for leaks again. Sea foam will have to go on the list. I have parts that should be here today to fix my other ball joint. I’m thinking I might work on it on sat when warmer…

This weekend was nicer out so I did the ball joints, New tires and shocks in the car. I had some time left so I changed the MAF, and put a bottle of sea foam through the PCV line. She is running better but it was -13F˚ this morning and I had to hold it at 2k for 60 seconds before she would stay running on her own. One interesting this I did find though is I have no suction on my EGR Vacuum line but there is on the other lines.

Still getting a misfire on 1 & 6 codes, I could keep doing the idiot mechanic work and keep replacing stuff till it’s fixed. I figured the o2’s would be the next step. Thoughts? I’ll look in to the loss of vacuum on the EGR supply line when the temp goes back up this weekend. Would be nice to actually figure this out and not blow through a paycheck chasseing a gremlin.

Bring it over to my house and have me fix it?

HAHAHAH... I have a heated garage and my CV runs like a top... txt me if you want me to look at it.
