balancer bolt removal

i need to remove the balancer/crank bolt. so i can pull the front cover and look for the source of noise im hearing.

300$ 33 gal 5.1 scfm@90psi.

80$ impact 650ft/lbs @5.0cfm


do you think this set up will remove the crank bolt?. i ask becuase iv read afew times that people couldnt get the bolt out even with an impact....they had to use the starter and a breakerbar.

don't use an impact on the crank bolt.
the metal gears for the oil pump are right behind the balancer and cover, and are quite fragile. i wouldn't take the chance.
