Ball Joints, price quote.

I just came back from the dealership and they said that I need new Spindles (?), the big aluminium suspention part. They said that it only comes as 1 piece. Each side costs $317, the service person gave me a total price of $812 including 10% discount and alignment. I think it's a pretty good price, have any of you guys changed those and how much did you pay?
