So, I posted a few days ago about my battery light being on and how I figured it was my altenator going out again. Well, i get in my Mark yesterday and the battery light has went off. So, I guess my Mark was just playing a joke on me, wow he she sure got me.

Lets give it more than a day or two. Ambient temperatures can affect it.

it will return!!!!!!! lol

I got the battery light last week in my Caprice and it hasn't come back. I think the temp changes are killing those weak batteries....

It might be just the voltage regulator on the alternator that's giving out. You could try putting a new one on the alternator before you decide to replace the whole thing. If it works, you'll have saved a bundle.

similiar thing happened to me first the bulb for the battery light blew out and i just replaced my voltage regulator last week and now things seem to be working fine. :D

Battery Light

Wow! The Forum is always right on time. I just bought a 94' Mark and my battery light is on. I'm going to measure it with a ohms meter and see what she's reading. I'll keep you all posted. I just bought the car from a private owner so I'm sure I'm in for alot of surprises.
