Best place to run wires through the firewall.......

I am installing lights and siren on my LS and before you coment, Yes I run them legally. I am a member of my county rescue squad. Like the title says, What is the best place to run wires through the firewall?

Anyone!? I know not many need to put wires through the firewall since the battery is in the trunk but figured someone would have an answer for me,lol.

Just my two cents, by the brake pedal or where the starter wire runs through the passenger side of the vehicle. If you open the passenger doors, pop off the Lincoln panels, pull the carpet back some, you'll see a thick red wire. You can trace it up to the corner of the front passenger footwell and see if you can snake in your wires there.

Once again, my two cents. Others may chime in with better suggestions.

I don't need power in the engine bay. Power will be supplied by a switch inside to activate the lights in the lower grill.

Looks like those headlights can use some good watersanding. Otherwise, nice looking LS.

Thanks and yes the head lights need resealed. There is moisture in them
