Big Brake Kit

I've been looking around and see that stoptech is the only one who makes a big brake kit......and the price is unbelievable!!!!! i figured i could make my own kit alot cheaper, but wondered if anyone else had tried that already? the biggest thing would be finding or making the new caliper bracket like what is used in the brake kit. everything else would be fairly easy to get ahold of. any help would be good

To be honest, you may end up spending more time and money chasing to get a system like the StopTech than just buying it outright. I can offer you a 10% discount on StopTech's prices. I'm a StopTech dealer if you want to purchase the kit. My suggestion would be to only buy the front calipers. Most of your stopping power is in the front anyway. This would save you about $2000. I have the front and rear setup but if I had to buy the setup again I'd only get the fronts.

No it wouldn't as long as you painted the rear rotor the same color as the front. You can get the StopTech rotors in just about any color.

i see your point about it costing more to finding all the parts i just thought maybe it was worth a shot to see if it had been done.
