yes its very easy.
step one, unplug tv.
step two, remove all audio video equipment from the tv,
step three, wheel it out the front door and put a please take sign on front of screen and place it on the left hand corner of driveway,
step four, go to the newly closing/liquidating circuit city and get a new 50 inch lcd for aroun a grand and enjoy high def.

hope this helps, not kidding:)

Yea, it's probably rear projection. :q:q:q:q's only worth about $500 call a TV repair dude and see if its worth repairing.

There should be an adjustment for this in the menu.
Usually it's a cross on a cross that can be moved right left up down to bring the convergence together.

I got a friend who had the same problem on his 65" JVC. He tried to fix it himself but couldn't. Called an repair shop and they came and got it. Remind you this tv is huge, as it's one of the models that sits on the floor. One of his light cans had went out and the bill was $700. Ouch.

screen adjustment

Go into the set up menu tor the TV. It should have choice for"Adjust screen" or "Convergence". Like the earlier post said its normally overlaying one cross over another for red/ blue adjustment and the green involves centering a rectangle to the perimeter of the screen. That's it. If you can't get it, it may require a tech to do a coarse manul adjustment first.
If you open up the TV, make sure you carefully clean the color guns- they get really dirty over the years and reduce output- just like the lights on a MK VIII.
