When I got my 2004 LS two weeks ago, I drove home in the dark and heavy rain, this is So Cal for Pete's sake, rain??!!?
Anyway, next morning on my way to work I noticed the hood bouncing up and down. I must not have noticed the problem on my drive home from the dealer, or it happened the night before when I got out.
A day later I was getting out of the car and I heard the hood pop open. Coincidentally I felt a tug on my left shoe. Aha, I thought, my left shoe tongue is getting caught on the hood release latch and opening the hood.
Just today same thing, got out of the car and my shoe caught the hood release and opened the hood.
THought I should warn some of you since this can be a dangerous situation.
Don't know if it is my size 12D wafflestompers or ghosts, but from now on I will pay close attention to where my foot is when I exit the car.
Good Luck,
Jim Henderson
