Bigger alt???

I need a bigger alt, the auto stores say there isnt a bigger on then the 90amp one. Is there any other ones I could get or and alternatives? Thanks for your help!

Go with a 2004+ Police Interceptor 200 amp alternator. It produced 120A at idle, and 200A max. You will need a new regulator. It will bolt right in, I had one put into my Crown Vic. I was running a 2000 watt system and never needed a capacitor! :gr_devil:

Don't go with remaned alternators; you'll be replacing it in a few weeks...

Yes it would work, I spoke with the guy about it as for the regulator I think it comes with one you can email him to be sure though.

I was lucky to find a real stock one on eBay for a steal, but otherwise you could find one for around $250 at a Ford parts store. I don't remember the part number, but if I find it, I'll post here...
