On the Allante site I belong to we have the DAOTM (dumb @ss of the month)

Usually it is someone who has damaged their car - without any help from outside influences...

We had a guy who had his Allante parked too close to his weed wacker... need I say more?

A couple of months ago we had the Allante Valdez...

Started working on it and got the seals changed out before the cold weather hit but still had a small leak from what looked like the oil filter holding device/sending unit . unhooked and took it to the local Autozone to see if I could get a new one. Got colder --lost interest.
Didn't go back 'til Jan and forget about the unhooked lines until I turn the key for about a half a millesecond. Oh no! really turned off before a second.....no problem. Except for the oil spill everywhere...

And then the famous early morning 'crunch'

some clown left the allante parked where it shouldn't be. the next morning, this clown groggily stumbled out the front door, got into his truck to go to work, put it into reverse, and without looking or thinking, backed into the usually open area where an unexpected allante was parked.
the crunch woke {me} him up.
the allante needed the chrome bumper trim ($80), the center reflector licence plate holder ($50), a taillight (epoxy), and a trunk lid ($100!)​
