Well, I got some m/t street et's for my car. Along with some 15x8.5" thunderbird fanblades. These oughta get me a couple tenths....

Verrroooom! They feel wobbly. Its most likely because they're rinkle walls and im runnin 20 psi. I have become used to it though. Its a big difference from runnin on hard sidewall street tires to these. Yall think I could get away with runnin 25psi.

damn. keep us informed.

im heading to the track this weekend. mods? j-mod.

gonna lift it back up a little bit and pull the swaybars though. dont have any DRs but i got some 225/50/16s im gonna toss on for a little gear advantage. currently still running the stock 11 year old michelins.

the way i learned to set air pressure on slicks is to do a burn out for a few feet and see what your foot print looks like. it should be solid even black the whole way across the foot print. it if is light in center of the burn out then add air, if the center is darker then the outside of the burn out then let some out. try starting at about 14-16psi and work from there. i usually start with 14.
