Blend Door Stuck ?!?!?!?!?!

Recently i have been using my heat, well a couple "nice" days came along and i wanted to use the air. I set the temp to 60 and put it on AUTO and it blows out hot ass air full blast, this happens anytime i hit the AUTO button, The temp outside was well above 60 when this happened, and its kind of annoying! Any suggestions?? Oh and when i first got the car in the summer the air worked great, but seems to have stopped now that i have used the heat, i dunno?!?!?!?

No, the blend air door is not stuck, since the LS doesn't have one. It is most likely a faulty DCCV. (Yours is a classic symptom of a failed DCCV.) Unfortunately, this seems to be a common failure. DCCV = Dual Coolant Control Valve, it does the same job that two blend air doors would have done. Do a search, you will find lots of posts about it.

That DCCV is usually the bad part....p/n XW4Z-18495-AA list is $274.80 and LVC is $178.62 plus shipping...plenty of stock on hand.

I agree DCCV, not a bad job to fix, just a little tight. I suggest you replace the FORD hose clamps with worm drive clamps, their easier to work with.

This DCCV, is this the part that mounts on the radiator shroud passenger side with 2 coolant hoses that come directly off of it?

I had the same problem, bro, when last summer hit. I was pretty aggravated cause I had to have the windows rolled down and the moon roof up.

I took my car to Firestone and refilled the "Aintifreeze" i think it was? Or the material that makes the temperature cold. They also put in a Dye that will let me know if it gets a leak.....cost me around 350 for the job. But to survive summer with cold air....well worth it.
