If my head gasket were to be blown, wouldnt i get air bubbles comming up through the reserve tank while running, right?

not necessarily,if it blows a part of the gasket between the cylinder and water cooling part then yes, probably, but the gasket can also blow between cylinders or in other directions, what is wrong that you are asking?

well, i had asked some others about my cooling issue, and they said it sounded like a blown head gasket, but i dont hear anything nor do i see any smoke from the exhaust. I was told that if i were to get bubbles in the resovuar while runnin i would know if it was blown or not. But i dont nessissarly think i do, cuz i havent seen any.

Blown head gaskets on the 4.6 dohc are very rare. If you are truly concerned and want to know for sure, take it to a mechanic, he could do tests to determine if it's the head gaskets or not. If you have replaced the coolant, thermostat and water pump and have no air pockets and the radiator is not clogged, it maybe possible you have a blown head gasket.

i still have to get that damn cap off to get the air outa it, but after that...i dunno, mabey the rad is clogged. But you guys say its the air, so im assuming its that. Once this inclemet weather dies down ill get to tryin to remove that damn thing again.

You don't have to get the cap off the get the air out of the system... I told you how to do it though the overflow bottle in the other post.
