I am in the market for some new mufflers and was wondering if the borla boomers was worth the money? I have also been considering Flowmaster Super 44's the Stainless Steal's not Aluminized or Dynomax Ultra Flo SS any and all opinions welcome please throw in some technical proof of your opions if any are available. I dont want to spend more than $480. My exhaust is completely stock for now. But as time go's by more will be done ie convert to true duels. I already have a P93 2 program tune. I am looking for great sound with power to boot. Borla is the only one I see that has a 7% - 10% hp increase listed on there site for these mufflers. Any truth in that? Or if there is something else I could do that would net me even more power than replacing the mufflers then by all means let me know all that you know about it.

On cars like these the diff. in horsepower from one to the other will be minimal. I would just go for the ones with the sound and money you like. As I remember using the dynomax if you get 2 1/2 inlet and outlets the interior of the muffler is still 2 1/4. Just wondering why magnaflow is not one of your choices. I would deff. do stainless in which ever one you get.

Just never really concidered them. The kid across the street has used them on his Accord and Civic now his 99 Cougar v-6 and I really dont like the sound. Maybe it's just cause there 4 bangers and a small 2.5 v-6 i dont know.

magnaflows sound a LOT better on cars with larger displacements, not little 4 banger peashooters whose whole engine is the size of one of my cylinders.
