lol tell me about it. my dad has a 2001 F250 v10 he blew a plug in the arizona desert when it was 120 oustide pulling are 10,000 lbs RV. 2,000 miles from home and 1,000 miles outsidwe the warranty. needless to say he was pissed the truck still pulled everything another 80 miles to san san diego but the dealer charged an arm and a leg to fix it!.

excursions are built on the same frame as F250 and 350's. i think navis are built on the same frame as F150's so it would be like trying to but a V10 in 150..

Aside from the plug issues, the V10's are great motors.

V10s are the worst.

My brother was doing fleet trucks for a while at his shop and the v10s blow 10x over the other motors.

Its not a bad fix if you know what your doing.
It takes more time to remove the crap then it takes to install the insert.

He told me hole #3 has 3 threads holding in the plug.
The ford engineer who came up with that should be shot.

i saw a Crown Vic with the V10 in a magazine, with a remote turbo/s, so if a CV can handle it i think an F150 can too
