Looks like the golf game is going to be number one for a while instead of the LS.

I found out today that we (the family) will be going to Japan in June for 3 years. Looks like the LS will either be sold (haven't decided) or go into storage for 3 years. Not to happy about having to be without the LS for that long but I will definetly have the money to pimp it when I come home if I keep it.

Just wanted to tell someone the bad news about the LS.

Keep it and pimp it out when you get home, when do you leave. Don't forget about us here at LVC while you are in Japan!!

Although I like the LS you could sell it and buy like a 99 Skyline GTR and then have it imported back to the US and either sell it for an outrageous price and then buy an 2006 and pimpit out or keep the GTR!

take it with you, or store it and lease one in Japan they have linc dealerships there right? I remember seeing pics of a japanese ls on here while back ;)

Well, you better take a lot of money to play golf in Japan. It costs about 100 times more to play there than here in the US. I know this since I worked for a Japanese company back in 2000.

Keep the LS for sure. However, have someone drive it from time to time.

Great thing about the Navy is we always have a golf course on the installation. People will pay you to come play golf on base because its so cheap.

The father-in-law has a place to store the LS and the 64 chevy 1/2 ton ( the real project vehicle).

If you ever get to Yokote AB/AFB, go hit Tama Hills Golf Course. OUTSTANDING PGA style course. Dirt cheap for military guys too, only like $20 for green fees, clubs, and cart.

:D Be nice :D

If you can afford it, I would keep it.

I am sure you will like it. I have freinds that have come back from Kadina and Yokote and would go back again in a heart beat. Unfortunately, I have been statside all of my carreer.

I'll, store it here in my garage and take it out on a few occasions to keep her lubed! Konichi wa! I Loved Japan when I was there. The exchange reate was 384 yen to the dollar. (25 years ago)
