Bra For My Girl!

Your car, do what you want. Don't say you weren't warned.

oh that was a warning, i dont get sarcasm sometimes.. why wouldnt it be good for a long time, i wouldnt put and on and neglect the paint underneath it when i washed and detailed, its more just for a cover when driving on the high way or something so you dont get chips and bugs

a friend of mine had one on her sable (it came on the car when she bought it) then she wanted to take it off after a year or two because it got a rip in it, when she went to take it off it had sanded off all of the clear coat and some of the paint, i almost through up when i saw it

If you put it on for road trips, you'll be fine. Just don't leave it on the car for every day use. LoudLS brought up what they have been know to do to paint.

yeah im reading it now, i guess it traps moisture in between the bra and the paint which eventually forces the moisture into the paint which makes it cloudy and ruins it, i was just wondering

you should try that spray on paint chip protector in a can that autozone sells, just spray it on over the paint and wash it off when your done

I say do 3m PPF if anything. But you are going for looks, not protection, so nevermind.

The same thing happened to my '92 Mustang GT that I bought in '95. The elastic strap that holds the bra to the hood wore a stripe across the front of the hood. Man I was pissed!

Not what I was hoping for when I saw this thread.

Bras on cars are stupid. But, as I've said in the past, whetever makes you happy.

My 96 Taraus SHO I installed a bra wore the clear coat off after one winter I thought I was saving my car from the salt...........NOT so much.

If you want protection, get what is called "Invisible Bra", clear pliable plastic film.
