Do the LS brake calipers require the special tool to spin and compress them? I have a Mark VII and the calipers have to be spun while they are compressed in in order to reuse them. Any help is appreciated!

The rear brakes "require" a tool that spins the piston back into the caliper, but some of us wind up using it on the fronts as well, just because it's a convenient way to compress the pistons.

FWIW, there's a thread on this subject that was posted here not too long ago. If you search for "brake tool," you should find it; closer to the end of the thread, you should find a link to the brake tool kit at Harbor Freight that Quik recommended. I believe the consensus was that the cube-type brake tools don't work well on the LS's calipers.
