Brake Lights

OK, I am having a message display on my 2000 Lincoln LS that says my Brake Lights are out... In which both of them are. Funny thing is that the Brake Lamp in the rear window works when I press on the brake. Does anyone know what could be causing this problem?? I have checked fuses, and replaced the bulbs, no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure you're replacing the brake light bulbs in the tail lamps? And if you have replaced the proper bulbs, have you used the right bulbs for the application? These are just a few things to consider.

Yeah, I am sure I have replaced the brake lights. Just to make sure, I replaced ALL bulbs in the tail light assembly. Still no luck... Any thoughts ??

Check fuses, and then check for a loose wire connection near the tail light.
