Need to replace the plastic reservoir tank on the brake master cylinder. Leaking like a siev.

The AC hose and plenum is in the way. Unit has allen screw on side and about 2 inches of space to get to it.

Anyone have step by step on how to replace this without unhooking the AC hose?

The ac hose is easily moved but if its really in that much of your way. Why dont you just loosen the whole MC from the firewall. Its only four 9/16" nuts under the dash and the rod for the pedal. Should have plenty of wiggle room by at least loosening it..probalby wont even have to unhook the lines.

Do you have a reservoir? I've got one if you need one.

That is an iffy question. I may need one.

I went to Pick-N-Pull and extracted a reservoir off an 89 LSC. But the inner walls are dirty and I haven't been able to ascertain how to clean. I cleaned the spout with soapy water and Q-tips.

Othewise, it is in pristine condition. All the LSCs at that yard had dirty reservoirs.

Coloma is either in CA, MI, WI, IN, MO, or MT. All of these places are too far for me to drive to, but I'd really like to see a yard with MANY LSCs in it.

Check your o-rings.

Clean brake fluid should be used to clean the reservoir.
