Ok guys looking for some help on brakes.

Looking for a good set of pads that DO NOT dust alot..lol

Also see some nice cross drilled n slotted rotors on ebay,,,and i know some of you have bought rotors from ebay,, which are the best ones for the price?

And I am going to paint my calipers thinkin of using the G2 Brake Caliper Paint or the Duplicolor caliper paint kit. Any info on each would be great

Thanks for any help

Before I switched over to the StopTech Big Brake system I was running cross drilled/slotted rotors with Porterfield RS-4 brake pads. I highly recommend the Porterfield RS-4 pads. Virtually dustless and work great at high temperatures. They are a high temperature brake pad so they really don't stop very well until they heat up. You can either buy low-temp pads or high-temp pads. Low temp pads are your generic AutoZone brands that work well if you don't brake hard and they are usually give off a lot of dust. The Porterfields would be my choice if I ever went back to a stock brake system.

You can order the Porterfield pads straight from Porterfield here:

Go with the G2 paint kit. Very easy. Make sure you don't need to drive anywhere for the day though, 24 hour cure time.

i agree.

My brake setup is:
• CC RotorWorks drilled and slotted rotors
• Porterfield Racing Dustless Carbon Kevlar Pads (R4-S High Performance Street and Autocross)
• StopTech Stainless Steel brake lines
• Dot4 - 446 degree brake fluid
• Brake cooling vents in lower grill (NACA Vents, aluminum brake spindle hose mount, Neoprene Duct Hose)

I've also heard from reliable sources that Wheel Wax will help significantly with brake dust accumulation and clean-up. I don't know who makes it, but it's called Wheel Wax.

Personally, I'm going for the Porterfields when I need new pads; for now, I just use a soft brush when I'm cleaning the wheels.
