Whats available for the 04 LS V8 in brake upgrade. I got 20's and iw as wondering if FORD had any aftermarket brake upgrade like bigger rotors or anything like a brembo setup or Baer brake set does?

i think stop tech is the only thing going right now. They offer steel braided lines and over sized rotors and calipers. Not cheap though.

You can visit StopTech at www.stoptech.com. They offer the Big Brake kit for the front only or all around. I've got the Big Brake kit coming for all around. It retails for around $5,200 but I got mine quite a bit cheaper. You have to run at least 18" wheels to use the stop tech system.

A cheaper alternative is the setup I have now. I'm currently running cross drilled/sloted rotors with Porterfield R4S pads with StopTech steel braided brake lines. This is a huge improvement over the OEM setup. The pedal will be much firmer. However, you have to reach optimal pad heat for it to work effectively. The Porterfield pads require at least 500 degrees surface temperature to work good. I've tested them on the highway and it's like throwing out a boat anchor when you step on them. I'd recommend only getting the slotted rotors due to the amount of heat needed to generate with the Porterfield pads. Eventually the cross drilled rotors will crack from too much heat.

I run this same setup. I added some brake ducking from the lower front grill to the rotor sheilds for added cooling.

if you check out the tech article in the LS section you'll see my setup.
