Broken window switch

Ok I was putting my window up when the little switch on the door just popped off. Please tell me I can fix this without buying the entire assembly. I have the switch back in place however it is very loose and definitely not installed right. I can't seem to get the little white piece to fit right. Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about or had the same problem/ Thanks!

I dont know about the Lincoln LS - I just did the same thing in my 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII - I called Maxx at Five Star Ford (see ad on right) and he sent me the switch itself.

can you post a picture of what happned?

ive never heard or seen that happen on an LS, but the mark VII they fall apart all the time.

The same thing just happened to me! It looks like a little piece of white plastic broke. I have an extended warranty, so I will take it in when I have time. It looks like they just snap in....
