Those fires out west are lookin bad, I heard they were close to OKC. Everyone be safe, let us know everything is ok. OH, and pepp, those fires are'nt real close to you are they?? If they are be safe and careful man.

Not at the moment, but they could be. There was a couple of fires last week that were kind of close, but they are out now, this area is so dry right now because we haven't had any measuable rain in quite a while. Lake Eufaula where we get our water from is real low it is the lowest i have seen in a very long time. Thanks for your concern Conti, I will be safe and careful!!!

I wasn't kidding when i said send some of that snow this way, we really need it. The lakes in this area are real low, if we don't get alot of rain soon, they might put water use restrictions on us, i will post more links when i can!!!
I was on the way back to town from my route and 5 miles from town, I could see a smoky haze over the area and found out there is a big grass fire about 8 miles from town going on. Firefighters are fighting it and so far they are doing a good job. Anybody who is or who has been a Firefighter volunteer or Professional :yourock: :yourock: :yourock: Thanks for the job you do 
Went outside last night had to take a cousin to his place, and there was a heavy smell of smoke in the air, will find out more at work, one of the ladies i work with her husband is the firechief for this town!!!
We got some rain monday and north of us they got more but the burn ban is still in effect.

Finally Rain has gotten here, it started raining here sometime during the night and it is supposed to rain until this afternoon, very good we really need it should be an end to the brush fires for awhile!!!!
