bubbles in crome trim

how come the trim molding stuff on the doors gets those bubbles in it? and once that happens you have to replace it right?
 
You dont HAVE to. But it would look better.

I have some on both my Town Cars. 91-94 is the worst for it though, it happens on the bumpers BAD.
 
haha yeah, thats what i meant.... how much would it cost at the dealer? do you know?
 
The dealer only would sell the whole moulding. You can by that stuff by the foot. I will get you a website.

Well, I finally got some of the stuff... 15 feet for both of the sides, i havent put it in yet but probably tomorrow. looks really nice.

Is it just the chrome strip or is it the whole molding?
 
Its the crome that goes in the molding, it was a pain in the ass getting all the old tape and junk off. Its really nice, only thing its just a lil bit narrower than the original.
