bumper marker

hello, i have 2000 sport model and i don't like the orange markers. i want to pop them out and either paint them or fill in the bumper.

i read once that the only way to get the marker out was to break it.. is that the case?

My other question to that is are they suppose to work when you turn on your headlights or are they for show cause I thought I saw a bulb in there maybe I was wrong my wife and I have a 02 LS8? \/\/\/\/ see below!!!

They do pop out - you have to come at them from behind the bumper. They are connected to the parking lights.

easier way to take out...

Ken over at Ls Koncepts told me there is a clip to the back end (the end closest to the door) take a flat screw driver and a towel or something soft to protest your paint and you can pry it out from the front mine came out in like a second or so. just be carful with your paint job.

Or you can take the headlight out and access it from the top part of the bumper.
