Why in the world does it cost so much to get cable tv service. I just talked to the new cable company in this area and they told me that it will cost $60.00 hook up and the first month payment of $54.00, mother :q:q:q:qer that is $114.00 that has to be paid when the cable guy hooks it up.
 
LOL I pay $178.80 per month!! And you have problems? C'mon it's the sgn of the times, everything goes UP not down.

Get a box *Wink* and a dish and get ALL the channels for FREE, well just your basic cable is all you have to pay.

Paying the monthly bill doesn't bother me, It's the start up cost that suck, money is tight every month.
 
When they first came out with cable TV (yeah, I'm old) we were told that the reason you had to pay for it was because there would be no commercials to pay for it. Whatever happend to that idea?

I pay 104 a month for cable and internet now. They're both full of commercials.:(

I had COX cable for years @#@%#% $180 a month for cable TV and internet. I just switched to Verizon and I love it. $90 a month for faster internet, more channels and all my phones - Wireless and home. Not to mention just 1 bill to pay.

Only issue is each TV has to have a cable box, where with COX only the HDTV had to have a box. Took them 3 days to run new lines and hook eveything up but when it was done- sweeeet.

I'm not sure. That sounds like about the same time frame.

I remember spending a quarter to play "pong" in bars. We thought that was fun technology.:D
 
Hey Pep's I worked in cable for 6 years-just fly me down and pick me up and you will have free cable-man these prices are insane you guys pay-I pay 55.95 for hdtv-cable modem and expanded basic-so about 90 chanels-maybe its all the spice chanels you guys are ordering lol:p
 
I wish that i could, they activate the cable programming from Shawnee, Oklahoma. Oh well this new cable company SUCKS!!!
 
Phone, dish, and internet, $220 a month and I'm not home that much. And I'd bet that those bastards killed Kenny!
