I have read the archives and have seen mixed posts about cams. I know with a relatively stock car there is not that much to be gained but I was wondering with my car and the mods I have if it would be good to do a cam swap? I would do it myself so there would be no labor involved. how much power do you think I would net? and also what lift/duration would be best suited for my application, I don't plan on supercharging unless I win the lottery so I'm gonna stay n/a for a long time to come. I don't want the navi cams, and I'd probally check over at corral or something for something. I wanna know if I should save up for them so in the spring/summer I can do this. Thanks.

I know I posted something similar a few months back but I just saw a post where a mach 1 gained power from doing head( he had other mods too.. similar to mine) so thats why I was wondering if the mods I have would make cams worthwhile.

You will need new valvesprings (Comp beehives etc...) as well. 96-98 Mark VIII might be able to get away with stock springs but not 93-95 Mark VIII as the springs are pre-beehives. I would not go above .470 lift either.
