Ok My cousin's 1994 Continental oil pressure light is flashing indicating low oil pressure. The oil level measures full on the dipstick. Does anyone have any idea what can be done to fix this problem?

A couple of things I could think of are some type of solid/gunk such as restore in the oil clogging around the oilpickup. Also a bad oil pump, too thick of oil for tempature and unable to circulate. Or possibly even a bad warning light.

3 things can cause this.. actual low oil pressure (as previously mentioned), bad oil pressure sender, or a bad connection on the back of the instrument cluster where the wiring harness connects to the computer that runs the cluster. if thats the case, resoldering the black connectors that go to the car's harness should fix the problem.
