Well the title says it all, so Can I change it by myself or pay $30 to get it done. :shifty: I am talking about the Continental. I haven't changed it since i had the car which was at 73000 miles and now it has 132000 miles.

Can't speak for the conti, but in general, I can't see a reason why not. If the petcock is easy to get to, drain her off best can, top off with mix of choice.

Drive it right up onto some ramps and you should see the drain. I've had my conti for 4 months and haven't had a problem doing it myself.

Draining coolant is pretty easy on most cars, You will need somewhere to dispose of the used Coolant though. Also keep all animals away from the car and inside the house while doing this!!!!! They are attracted to coolant and they drink it unknowingly, It can kill them. Just a heads up.

I wont do coolant myself after my cat got into it and died, was horrible cause I didnt know it happened and then 4 days later the cat started having seizures and by that time it was far too late.
Looks worse then something from the faces of death movies IMO.

Ill just pay the cash thank you. :)

BTW a teaspoon kills a cat, tablespoon kills a dog

I will take some pics under the car, Can you guys point out the drain, Thanks
