Can you? How? Add mp3 player to Fac/Nav/Radio

Hey guys

As I understand it none of the LS models will play mp3's.
I want to play mp3's. An '04 or '05 LS v6/v8 is in my future.
I have seen some of the cars with LCD displays can an mp3 player be added?

If not, should I just look at the cars with the std player? Can you add an mp3 player to it?

most of us use http://www.logjamelectronics.com/piefrdnaux.html that connects to the factory radio and allows anything to be connected to it - satellite, mp3, laptops, PPCs, ....

It says "NOT compatible with vehicles with factory navigation system."
I guess that answers my question. What a bummer.
