can you sensor lower a 93?

with a strong warning though.
if your air springs are original/8-10 years old, or near 100k miles, they may leak when you lower it.

here's why:
the air spring folds under itself, and expands/rolls over this fold as the ride height raises and lowers over bumps/while venting/raising. this causes cracks than can leak over time. This also causes most of the air spring surface area(rubber bladder) to remain exposed to the elements. The rubber can dry out/crack, and when you sensor lower it, the cracks can then be at the fold area, casuing them to spread, and leak.

just a word of caution-8-10 yr old bags/100k miles on them can leak(if they arent already). be prepared.

well im replacing the front bags as we speak. Do the rear bags usually last longer than the front bags? I hope so because i cant afford them any time soon. So i guess i will just forget the lowering. thanks for the warning.

Rusty-
I "sensor lowered" my '93 with the original rear airbags and I've had no problems. I did replace the rear shocks though. I also replaced the front bags before lowering just as you are doing. Go for it!!
